Urban Decay The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler: Review, Photos
I have a love/hate relationship with lash curlers. At one point, I even called them pointless. Figuring that my mascara should be able to do all the work. And it didn’t help that I had a nasty accident years and years ago with a lash curler that left my right eye bleeding, that really made me say, ” to hell with a lash curler”.
So I know your thinking, “Nikkia if you’ve had such bad luck, why did you go out and buy this scary looking one?”. Well the answer is, I think my lashes need it. I’ve been using a lash serum for about two months now and though my lashes haven’t gotten as thick as I would like. They have indeed gotten longer. And with length comes straight lashes. My mascara and primer do a good job at giving my lashes some curl but, it’s not long lasting.
When I saw that Urban Decay had introduced a cage-free curler. I decided right then that I would give curling my lashes another chance. And i’m happy to report that this curler is doing pretty good. I don’t curl my lashes every time I wear makeup but, when I do. I see a noticeable difference in my lashes. I had read countless reviews stating how horrible this curler was and how it had chopped off peoples lashes. etc. Well this skeptic didn’t let those reviews scare me. I haven’t had any lashes chopped off and I think that has a lot to do with the cushion pads (five extra come in package) and the design.
The design for this curler is different from any others I have seen and used in the past. There is no cage incasing the curler which meant that I had the freedom of just curling my outer lashes if desired. There is also a spring that scares me but, makes curling super fast and easy. The spring is controlled and not automatic. If that makes any kind of sense.
This lash curler retails for $20.00 and works really well. It fits all eye shapes and does a great job at really curling the lashes section by section or all at once. If you are in the market for a new lash curler. I definitely would suggest giving this one a try.
Urban Decay The Revolution High Performance Lash Curler can be found on urbandecay.com, Ulta and Sephora.

Thanks for sharing. I knew this curler was supposed to be different because it doesn’t have the bars on the end…
