Style & Beauty Icon: Miss Piggy

OK, this is such a random post.

You see, a little birdie shared some exciting news about two of my favorite things, Miss Piggy and MAC Cosmetics. Supposedly on November 14th, MAC will be releasing an online exclusive Miss Piggy collection. I don’t know how true this is but, can I just say I’m excited at the possibility even if it’s not true. As a matter of fact, excited doesn’t even express how I’m feeling right now. If I could do a cart-wheel, I would be doing them.

You see, according to my mom, I’ve been in love with Miss Piggy and The Muppets since I was a wee little tot. I don’t know what it is about Miss Piggy but, I just love her.  To me she is more than just a cartoon or puppet. She is style, personality and a true lady. Now I know some of you will say, “Nikkia, she’s a pig”, but to me, she’s a lady. lol She is one of the first characters I learned style, strength, determination and beauty from. Miss Piggy never takes no for an answer. And she is always dressed fabulous and her makeup is always on point.  And I know right about now, some of you all are like, OK this girl is crazy.

Miss Piggy is doing big things this fall.  And It truly is her time to shine. She’s starring in a new movie, “The Muppets” in theaters 11/23. She hopefully has a new cosmetic collection with MAC Cosmetics. And she is apart of two collections that are coming out for The Balm and OPI.  I’m super elated about all this and will soon be sharing all my new goodies/paraphernalia with you.

So, you already know Miss Piggy is my girl. I also love the Green M&M and Smurfette. But, who is your favorite female character?
