Wow, i’m still in a bit of shock about the death of 27-year old Amy Winehouse, who was found dead in her London home this morning. I mean, I know she had her issues and wasn’t on the radar or radio much these days but, I still rocked out to the soul & jazz artist.  She was different, unique and just one of those artist who didn’t sing for fame but, because she wanted to and had the pipes to carry a soulful and powerful tune.

Back to Black & Frank have been on heavy rotation today and will forever be classics and timeless stamps of a life gone to soon.

R.I.P. Amy Winehouse (1983-2011) your voice, bee-hive and exaggerated jet black winged-eyeliner will truly be missed.

OMG!!! I cried on my way home last night as I pumped my Winehouse playlist in my truck. I mean, I had real tears as I sang along to “Just Friends” .. “My Tears Dry On Their Own” … Amy Winehouse was way TOO good to be taken so young. I wish that she could have rid of those demons that she was fighting with before they got to her … She will TRULY be missed!!! R.I.P. Amy Winehouse ~

I love this chick. Even my mom was sad about it. She is familiar with some of the songs. She will be missed.

Amy’s death was a huge loss to music, it’s still pretty shocking that she is gone at such a young age. She will truly be missed.
