Public Service Announcement: Wet n Wild & Milani I’m Tired of Hunting……
July 21, 2011 in Bargin/Drugstore Goodies, Random by Silver Lips 16 comments
Ladies & Gentlemen,
I’m tired of trying to hunt down drugstore limited edition products. Wet n Wild and Milani specifically. Like why should I have to ride to four or eight different CVS, Rite Aid, Wal-mart, & Walgreen stores to find your products. Yes, both of these companies have come a long way in terms of product quality but, they have a long way to go in regards to availability. The gas prices aren’t going down and my time and gas are valuable. And it’s just not fair that I have to ride all around town only to be disappointed that none of these stores have what I’m looking for.
I was finally able to find the two Milani products below but I got the last paint wheel and lip gloss at two different stores that were miles aways from each other. But I still can’t find the new Wet n Wild trios.
So Wet n Wild & Milani Cosmetics, if you read this please help us all out. And make your products readily available to us. And don’t just send stores one display. OK Thanks
Sorry for the rant but, I’m tired of hunting. Am I alone of this?

I agree. I don’t put in the work that you do looking for their products, but the CVS that I live close to is always low on their products. If I see it while I’m there then I snatch it up, otherwise I’m not as pressed as I use to be about their stuff.

NO! You are not alone! I don’t understand their retail marketing/availability strategy. Isn’t this bad for business? How do they decide which store gets what product?
[Reply]
the CVS near me hasn’t gotten new stock of WnW or Milani in MONTHS! it’s always the same old dusty products that have been sitting on the shelves for God knows how long every single time i go in there.

Wow I havent seen these products at all. I have the same problem.. havent seen the new wet n wild items yet either..

thank you so much, because i don’t have a blog to put them on blast. i am sooooo tired of this bs, i live in los angeles you would think its easy to find them right, but nope. when i see product reviews of products by these companies i no longer go looking for them. ps sally hansen should also be on this list.

Ladies, I’m here in NYC and I can never find the special promos that Wet and Wild or Milani put out. Its like search for the Yeti. I keep reading about these products and there is simply NO where to find them. What gives? Wet and Wild should allow folks to buy from their website but you can’t. It doesn’t make sense commerically. I’m tired of looking for thier grand new stuff – the company should take note of that.

i hear you! at least you found two of the most coveted milani items! i gave up. i would search and search….. only for my local store to get it all late and have a bunch hanging around after i’m over it.

I think WnW may be setting the stage to increase their prices.
[Reply]
Seems like whatever store I go to Milani is almost sold out. Wet N Wild I just feel lucky to get whatever I can!
[Reply]
Man, that product hunt does suck. I haven’t seen these items either.
[Reply]
They have the Milani Hauteflash out here by my job but no Wet n Wild products.
[Reply]
I found mine at Rite Aid and I live in chicopee Ma. I picked up the last earth looks small from down here and dancing in the clouds. Man I got super lucky with these.
However I understand you completely at least you can drive around I don’t own a car so I’m very limited with what stores I’m willing to go to.

I don’t think CVS got the dream weavers at least I haven’t seen them there. I got my trios from Rite Aid!

Good for you, I feel the very same way. The thing about WnW is that they do not have a lot of outlets that sell online. I can at least buy Milani at CherryCulture.com. In addition to the chase, at all is said and done with the time and gas money spent, I could have bought a more ready available high brand for equal the amount.

Hi there,
I actually worked for wet n wild. Trust me, they want the collections to be in every store possible. You really think a business doesn’t want to make more money? No, wet n wild wants the collection in every store, but they can’t place it in every store because retailers demand a certain number of LE products and will not take anymore than that. So you’re wondering why wet n wild can’t tell you which stores took it? There are thousands of CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aids, etc across the country. Once the product leaves the warehouse, it belongs to the retailer and they don’t tell wet n wild when and where it’s going. This is because the retailers decide that information. When they pick up the shipment from wet n wild, they distribute it to different company warehouse centres across the country and go from there. The retailers have that information and if you wanted to find it, you should contact stores near you that sell WNW about it, in fact, it would be better to contact the corporate headquarters of those stores.

I agree. I live in Texas, and am used to driving long distances to get the things I need. I’m sure if you looked at all the miles I put into trying to hunt down the Gilded Age collection, and the On the Prowl nail collection, I could have crossed 4 states by now. It’s ridiculous. Today alone, I have gone to 5 CVS stores, 3 walgreens, the halloween Spirit store, 2 walmarts, 2 albertsons, and the local H.E.B. grocery store trying to hunt down these nail polishes, as one is a good dupe for Deborah Lippmann and I’m not willing to fork over 20+ dollars for it. (although now it seems like it might have been a good idea to just buy the expensive one considering how much I spent in gas)
