On This Day 12 Years Ago…..
Lauryn Hill released the classic and timeless album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” . Inspired by the infamous book ” The Miseducation of the Negro” by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, this album just like the book will forever be a piece of history to be shared and appreciated by all. Wow! It doesn’t seem like twelve years have past since this album hit the airways and totally blew our minds away with powerful, meaningful and thought provoking tunes. Like just last week I was rocking ” I Used to Love Him” on my ipod as if it had just been released. Lauryn Hill, really created a album that will never tire. And now that she has resurfaced back onto the music scene. I hope that her next album will be just as classic and timeless.
Now I know everyone and there momma has this album, right?
So Tell me, what are your favorite song(s) from “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”.
As an added bonus check out this recently released demo titled “Repercussion”.
* Demo meaning this is just a snippet that may not be a real single, etc.*

I still listen to this album daily! Lauryn Hill Pandora station is all I need in the world, lol. But one of my favorites because I can listen to the whole album through and through is – Nothing Even Matters. The beat, production is amazing. That song always speaks to me and makes me sway.
Thx for the memories,
Ms.LML
