New York Fashion Week Mixer Recap

On February 13th, I along with my good friend & blogging sister Kia of Yummy411 headed to NYC to attend the New York Fashion Week Mixer hosted by the lovely Lianne of The Makeup Girl and Paul of Beyond Beauty Basics.

When Kia and I arrived in New York, we did some light shopping and Staples hopping (long story short I left my business cards at home) and made the best of the weekend ahead. Once we settled into our small but posh hotel room we were greeted by our friend Yannize of AMMO Magazine and got ready to party the night away with other fabulous bloggers and the like.

I have to say, overall, I had an amazing time. It was great catching up with my blogging buddies and to finally put the names with the faces to my twitter friends. It was also a pleasure meeting new people within the beauty and fashion industry and blogging community.
