My Two New Storage Solutions

Let’s start this off by saying, ” I really need a makeup room”, because  right now my one bedroom condo doesn’t accommodate my ever growing makeup collection.  I can deal with not having enough room for my shoes and clothes, hell even my pots and pans could use some breathing room but, my makeup, oh my makeup needs its own wing in my home. And  sadly until I leave my humble abode for a new bigger humble abode (hint hint to boyfriend), I have to make due with the little space I do have.

So trying to organize my small makeup space, I purchased these two new storage solutions that have helped free up some space and room. Enters the Ikea ‘Lennart” three drawer cart. I picked this up for $14.99 and it now houses my nail polishes, supplies and extras. It is a great three cart but, because nail polishes can be a bit heavy the drawers aren’t as sturdy as I would like. It works for right now but I think I may have to upgrade shortly to something sturdier.  Next up is my “Revolving Organizer” that I picked up from Michael’s for 40% off a couple weeks ago.  This organizer is now the new home of my eyeliners, lipliners and brushes. I love that it has all kinds of compartments like a picture frame, three small drawers and  seven deep pockets.
