My First Experience with Nail Art
Long before there was Konad nail stamps, Minx or Calgel gradation. There was an amazing artist by the name of Cara who worked at out of a local DMV hair salon. Her work could be noticed from miles away because of the bold colors, Picasso like designs and acrylic sculpted attachments. Cara to me was/is the true essence of nail artistry. Her creative visions always amazed me, especially since she had such small space to work with – nails that is. I use to wait for hours to have my acrylic nails hand painted with swirls of bold fabulous colors. I even patiently waited for her to sculpt Tweety Bird, Sylvester, telephones, fruit and any other fun object to my nails. Back in the day you couldn’t tell me a thing, because I knew my nails were the bizness.
Well let’s fast forward to today, even though I no longer get my nails done (boring me) by Cara. I still respect and love to see Cara and the ladies of Salon Couture work. She along with several other fabulous ladies have opened their own full service salon cleverly named Salon Couture . If your looking for a place to have your hair and nails looking their absolute best. You need to check out the hard working, always fly ladies at Salon Couture.
