Milani Lip Flash Pencils Review, Swatches, Photos

Milani Cosmetics is one of those companies that has been on my drugstore radar for that last couple of months, along with Wet n Wild.  I have been buying and using there products for a while, but realized recently that I’ve never shared any reviews with you all. Sad right? Sorry   I’m so glad that drugstore makeup is getting better because, as much as I love mid to high end makeup, being above to buy good quality products from my local mass market drugstore is a major plus and a nice break for my wallet.

Milani’s Lip Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Gloss Pencils come available in eight vibrant shades . I have owned and used these pencils since they were launched a while ago. I think last year sometime. Anyway, these jumbo pencils are the best of both worlds. They have the texture/coverage of a lipstick with the shine, moisture and feel of a gloss. They are also packed with shimmer and sparkle. Making them fun for day or night. These extra glossy sharpenable pencils offer high color coverage with moisture rich ingredients. These pencils are also very creamy. I originally thought because they had so much shimmer/glittery that they were going to apply and feel very gitty. But these don’t, they glide on the lips smoothly. No lipliner is required for most colors. These also have a nice staying power. Lasting over five hours on my lips without feathering or bleeding.

I really like these pencils. I have seen these compared to the Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Color. But since I haven’t personally tried them. I can’t say if they are conpareable. What I can say is that they are worth the price ($6.99 depending on what store you purchase from) and that you to will like them. Out of the four I purchased my favorite is Lip Flash.
