Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense Lipstick: Review, Photos, Swatches

Make Up For Ever never ceases to amaze me. Whether I’m drooling over the aqua creams or enjoying there fabulous eye shadows. Most people including me, are pleased with there products. Well Make Up For Ever has just introduced, Rouge Artist Intense, a show-stopping new lipstick collection with high pigmentation for dramatic, long-lasting color. To celebrate the artistry in color and provide a more comprehensive shade range for consumers and professional make up artists alike, Rouge Artist Intense is available in 50 shades and three different finishes for varying intensity – matte, pearly and satin. Rouge Artist Intense lipsticks can be worn alone, or layered for a multi-colored effect.

What I like most about these lipsticks, is the color selection. Retailing at $19.00, there is bound to be a color for every skin tone. And to make selecting the right shade easy, MUFE  created a lipstick shade finder.The line boasts an extensive assortment of classic red, pink and nude hues to help women everywhere find the shades that suit them best, along with more artistic colors including purples, gold and black. The lipstick shade finder takes two elements, your hair color and skin tone to select the perfect match for you. According to the shade finder the colors selected for me were #32 (satin soft pink) & #34 (satin light raspberry). Both lipsticks are of a satin finish and if your familiar with the satin finish you know it can have the matte look with out the dry feel. Both shades are very wearable and I think the finder did a good job. I also tried out #2 (matte orange pink) which is a true matte.  Now this color though dry really made my lips feel super dry. The color payoff was pretty but I hate for my lips to feel overly dry. I added a little gloss and all was well.
