MAC Viva Glam Ricky: Review, Swatches, Photos
Pop sensation Ricky Martin has teamed up with MAC Cosmetics for its yearly campaign to promote awareness of HIV/AIDS through MAC AIDS Fund’s Viva Glam program. Every year MAC enlists the hottest and brightest stars to not only promote a fabulous new lip product, but to also bring awareness to people about HIV/AIDS.
Viva Glam Ricky ($15.00) is the first of its kind in the Viva Glam line up. Viva Glam Ricky is a limited edition lip conditioner that hydrates and soften lips. This untinted lip conditioner can be used anytime day or night. Its perfect for prepping the lips for lipstick or wearing alone. It applies smoothly and quickly seeps into lips leaving a slight shine. It is travel friendly and carries well in makeup bags and pockets. I initially wasn’t going to buy this product because, I’m not a huge fan of the vanilla chemical scent thrown into MAC’s skincare products. But after using this while in the store the scent went away pretty fast and really did keep my lips soft and supple for a couple hours.
I like the change of pace with this product. It never hurts to introduce a high-priced celebrity signed lip conditioner. lol Viva Glam products are available for 12 months and can be purchased every where MAC Cosmetics are sold. And as we all know, every cent from each sale goes toward helping children, women and men living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

I think that consumers can overlook the high price tag since the $15 will be going to charity. This definitely sounds like something I’d be interested in giving a try.
