Lush Bubble Gum Lip Scrub

As the weather slowly changes, I’ve noticed that my lips are getting drier and require more attention. Usually I lather on a thick coat of vaseline or lip balm and keep the beat moving but, lately I’ve noticed I need more than that. So on my last visit to Lush I decided to try out one of their lip scrubs. Now usually I make my own scrub by mixing one part vaseline with one part sugar or kosher sea salt. But decided to try out a pre-made one that had a little extra flava and added essential oils. lol

Retailing for $8.95 (0.8oz) this sugary sweet scrub does the job. Mixed with castor sugar and jojoba oil, I find that this scrub tastes good and is super easy to use. To use I apply the scrub to my dampened lips and rub in circular motions with my finger. This scrub has just the right texture to scrub away dry flakes without hurting my lips. I use this scrub every other day followed with a nice amount of lip balm to lock in the moisture. And the results are super soft, kissable lips.
