LORAC Close Up: Real Life To Red Carpet Natural To Dramatic Face Tutorial Kit Review, Photos, Swatches
I’m always on a quest to find affordable, convenient and easy makeup that delivers and doesn’t cost a fortune. Well LORAC has created a kit that will work great for natural and dramatic looks. This kit which was created by Carol Shaw gives you all the tools you need to easily create any look you desire. It retails for $39.00 & includes the following:
- 0.15 oz Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar
- 0.02 oz Front Of The Line Pro in Black
- 0.43 oz Multiplex 3D Lashes Mascara in Black
- 0.12 oz Blush in Soul
- 0.17 oz Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter
- Tutorial Look Book
Taking the guess work out of makeup application is what some ladies seek. I for one, like to dibble and dabble in products to create the looks I desire. But for others, they like the no-fuss approach to makeup. With this kit you have the best of both words. Natural and Dramatic looks that are easy to achieve with the handy tutorial look book. The look book has a spiral stand and stickers giving you, the artist, the option to either make use of the step by step tutorials while sitting down at a desk/vanity or by sticking the instructions to a mirror.
The combination of these products blends nicely. My favorite products from this kit are the Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio in LORACstar and the Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter. The eyeshadow trio can be applied dry or wet, and either way you use it, the color pay-off is amazing. It glides on smoothly and has very minimal fall out .A little fallout is to be expected from mineral shadows. The liquid lipstick is the perfect shade of peach. It isn’t sticky and just is a very pretty and easy product to use.
The blush( Soul) included in this set is nice but, doesn’t really suit well on my skin-tone. I like to use it more as a light highlighter than an actual blush. The 3D mascara is nice and build-able. And lastly the Front Of The Line Pro liner is amazing. Now you all know I can’t apply an even line to save my life but, the tip of this liner makes thing a lot easier.
Overall, this kit has true bang for your buck. Five full sized products for $39.00 is a steal and makes it worth it, even if everything included doesn’t suit you. To learn more or to order this and other LORAC kits. Head over to www.sephora.com
Have you purchased any of LORAC kits? If so, which is your favorite?
