Last Minute Holiday Gift Ideas for A Makeup Connoisseur

The holidays are the hardest time of the year for me. I get asked by my family and friends every year what I want and the first thing they scream is “NIKKIA, NO MAKEUP GIFTCARDS”. Sad isn’t it? My family and friends knows me so well. For the last several years I have asked  for cosmetic gift cards from friends and family and now they have all taken a stand, to not feed my obsession. And the funny part about all this is, there right. I don’t need anymore makeup but, I’m obsessed and what I do need more than another lipstick is a place to put it all.  :-(

And I know I’m not alone. Am I?

So to help your family and friends shop for you. I have complied a list of last-minute gifts that would be perfect for you and your makeup collection.

Gift cards to: (some people find gift cards to be so impersonal but, there is nothing better than letting me pick what I want. Can’t get more personal than that in my opinion.)

IKEA , if your like me your collection needs to be stored away and look pretty. And to me IKEA sells the most affordable things to do just that. Whether you’re looking for a vanity, drawers for your makeup room or lighting solutions, they have it and so much more.

The Container Store , need I say more. This place is the epitome of organizational solutions.  Here is where you find small must have to keep your products from getting all cluttered.

Michael’s, if your crafty like me or so I think I am. This store is the place every makeup connoisseur needs to venture into. This store holds loads of hidden treasures such as vases, brushes, and brush cleaners and that’s just naming a few of the treasures located here. I could spend hours here and I usually do. The sad part is I leave with so much more than I needed.

Now if you not into giving gift cards. Here are a two storage solutions your makeup junkie will love as a holiday gift.

The infamous Kardashian acrylic storage cabinet. I first saw this clear acrylic cabinet in Kourtney’s bathroom on “The Kardashian show” and was on a hunt to find it. Well once I found it I was blown away by the price $290.00. But since its Christmas it doesn’t hurt to add it to your list. I recently saw this clear cabinet on sale for 259.95 here

My last my gift  idea is for the “Original Pink Tool Box” this product is very masculine but ,it’s an actual full functioning tool box that has been painted hot pink (they also offer lime green)and made super girly. It can be used  for hundreds of different uses. From storing makeup/hair tools to actually holding mechanical tools/parts (for the lady that does it all) and even toys. Check out the site to see all the different ways it can be used. These tool boxes are pretty pricey but, sturdy, cute and can take a serious beating.
