La Femme Blush: Review, Swatches, Photos

I was introduced to La Femme blushes back in February of last year at the LA Makeup Show, by the lovely and truly missed (I wish she would grace the blogosphere with a few of her awesome FOTD’s soon)  Seymone of “Reflections of Beauty”. Now after purchasing the blushes, I placed them in my new Z palette that I also purchased at that makeup show and sadly never looked, swatched or even used the blushes. Sad right? Well fast forward to last month when I was watching a couple of youtube videos about these affordable, super pigmented and highly sort after blushes and I thought to myself , “wait some of these blush names sound very familiar”. Lo and behold, I looked through my stash and found that I did own a few of these awesome blushes ( Orange, Golden Ruby, and Coral Spice). I dusted off that Z palette and got to swatching and using the three blushes I had and OMG, I fell in love instantly. I also got mad at myself for not using these sooner and owning more.

So, what did I do? I hopped online and ordered 7 more of these amazing blushes.  Retailing at $2.50 each for the pan-only version and $3.00 for the potted version. These blushes offer great color pay-off and long-lasting staying power. Offering 44 bold and vibrant shades. The blushes come in two different textures matte and shimmer. Size wise these blushes are 0.8 oz. and are the exact same size as a Make Up For Ever eyeshadow. These blushes in my opinion are just as good as high-end blushes such as MAC, NARS, Inglot & Make Up For Ever. Because these are super pigmented, I suggest going very lightly when applying to blush brush.  I also found these to work really nicely as eyeshadow. Some of the bolder colors stain the eyes, so be careful if you decide to use as an eyeshadow.

Overall, I love these blushes. Point. Blank. Period! La Femme blushes can be found online at www.makeupmania.com

LOL @ Kenya. I agree with both ladies (Hey Fran!) they are gorgeous. Nikkia how does the magenta blush compare to Madly Magenta pigment?
