Jesse’s Girl: JulieG Nail Color Collection Haul, Review, Swatches
Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics and Julie G (youtube beauty guru) have teamed up and created a new nail polish collection in Julie G’s honor. If you have ever seen any of Julie G’s youtube videos. You already know that she exudes a bright, positive and fun personality and also creates beautiful looks and vids. She also is a huge fan of Jesse’s Girl products. So it was no surprise when I first saw that they paired up to create an awesome collection of nail polishes for us to enjoy.
Each nail color retails for 3.99 and like all other Jesse Girl products is sold exclusively at Rite Aid. The collection consists of eight nail polishes. That each have a cute story behind them. I picked up three colors from the JulieG collection and the JulieG nail color from the main line.
L to R: All Things Girly, Mermaid’s Lagoon, JulieG, Fashion Friday
All Things Girly ( soft coral peach) this color is absolutely gorgeous. It’s perfect for work or play. The only downfall is that it is a hint streaky and requires at least two or three coats to apply evenly.
Mermaid’s Lagoon ( teal with subtle gold/pink shimmer) Love this color and the shimmer really makes this one pop. Applied nicely with two coats and the texture and consistency was excellent.
JulieG (petal pink with a hint of orange) even though this color isn’t apart of what JulieG created. This color stood out to me. I love bright coral pink colors and this one was perfect on my skin-tone.
Fashion Friday (bright red-based purple) according to Julie G herself this color is the exact match to her background that she uses while making her videos. I can see this color being super flattering on most skin tones.
Overall, I really like these polishes. I have never tried any of the Jesse’s Girl nail colors but , I’m so glad that I invested in a few shades. I may go and pick up a few more. The only thing I would change is the applicator. The handle to each bottle is a little too short for my liking so getting a good grip to apply the color was a bit (not much) of a challenge for me. The brush is short as well so two or three coats are mandatory.

Loving the colors. I just got rid of all my old nail polish and am in the processing of starting over my collection. I will have to see if we have this brand in a store near me.
