Butter London “Yummy Mummy” Lippy Lipgloss: Review, Swatches, Photos
Butter London recently launched a collection of “Lippy” lip glosses. LIPPY is a range of long-wearing, lacquer-like lip glosses in shades to match some of Butter London’s infamous nail lacquers. Like the butter LONDON nail lacquers, LIPPY colors are rich and heavily pigmented for a look that is deliberate, high fashion, and luxe. LIPPY does not contain parabens, petroleum, phthalates, sulphates, or bismuth.
Yummy Mummy, is a flat milky taupe beige. You guys know I’m a sucker for plain nudes and some what flat colors. But, not to be a Debbie downer here this lip gloss does nothing for me at all. It is highly pigmented but, it smells and taste horrible. It is very sticky, stiff and not pliable at all. Once applied there is no moving it around on your lips. I orignally thought I got a bad one until I went and swapped this gloss out, only to find the same texture, smell and stiffness.
Overall, this lip gloss is extremly to thick, smells and is just not worth the $17 dollar price tag. I truly believe that butter London should stick with what they know, and what they know well, is nail lacquers. Butter London products can be purchased from butterlondon.com, Ulta and Nordstrom.
Have you tried any of the Lippy lip glosses?

Thank you for your honesty!
I thought about checking those glosses out some time in the future, but I think I’ll just stick to the nail polishes, LOL.

I don’t like the nail polishes either they have nice colors but they chip way too fast. As for the lippy’s I don’t like lip products that have fruity smells I like more of a minty flavor or none at all.
