August Favorites

OK, I’m still dazed at how fast August flew past. I didn’t wear an ounce of makeup in August . Can you believe that? But here are the products I enjoyed in August.

This is by far may be my smallest favorites post but, hey it happens, right?

1. Kiehl’s  Cucumber Herbal Alcohol-Free Toner- I love this toner, its light, mild almost fragrance-free and works on all skin types. I loved that it didn’t burn my skin, was non-drying and left my skin clean, soft , refreshed and toned.

*2. Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser – I’ve been told I have OK skin. I get the monthly break-out and monster zit from time to time, but other than that I have fairly decent skin. But there is one area of my skin I wish to balance. That area is dullness. My skin can look very dull and bland so to combat that I was told that I needed to incorporate Glycolic acid into my skin care regimen and since being told that (by  profession of course) I have been using the trusted Mario Badescu brand. I tried out their foaming wash and let me tell you. I love it! Simply amazing stuff.

3. Clarisonic Plus – this product right here probably needs no words. This was a late birthday gift from my boyfriend. And of all the tech gadget he has bought me in the past, this beauty wonder is by far my favorite gift.  I use it once sometimes twice a day to really get the dirt off. When paired with the Mario Badescu Glycolic Cleanser my skin truly thanks me.

4. Skinny Cow ‘Heavenly Crisp” Candy Bar – These candy bars are delicious. They are 110 calories of yummy goodness. They are light in texture and big on flavor. If you are looking for a light but tasty candy bar run don’t walk to grab a box of these.

*5. MAC Prep + Prime Lash Serum (not pictured) I have decent lashes, but I want fuller lashes (what girl doesn’t right?) Well I started using this about 2 weeks ago and I think , think I’m noticing a difference. This serum is light weight and doesn’t irritate my eyes. Its good stuff but I’ll discuss more in my full review coming soon.
