A.H.A. Brazilian Peel Review
For the past 7 weeks, I have been treating my skin to some true pampering sessions. I’m not a go-to-the-spa-get-a-facial type of girl but, I do like to treat my skin as if it was treated and pampered at one. A.H.A. Brazilian Peels have been a true delight to use, they are the first professional-strength, self-neutralizing glycolic peel clinically proven safe for at-home use.
The Brazilian Peel claims to instantly firm, noticeably smooth, and brighten skin with just one use. Claims also state that fine lines and wrinkles are visibly reduced after four weekly applications and a radiant, youthful complexion is maintained with continued weekly use. Like I stated before I have been using these peels for 7 weeks and I have to say the claims that apply to me are true. I don’t have any wrinkles yet but, I have noticed that my skin is brighter and more radiant. So much so, that my normal foundations/powders are leaning to dark or orange/red on me. Is it truly possible to get lighter? I’ve never had a professional peel done but, I’ve seen the results on others and I didn’t like it. The skin seemed to look irritated and scaly, and that’s the best part about the Brazilian Peel for me. I saw no signs of redness or irritation. And that’a amazing on my dry sometimes sensitive skin.
I use one peel per week after I have cleansed my skin. To use these are super easy. First you cleanse your skin. Next you dispense the contents of the two sided tube into your palm. Blind together and when it starts getting warm you apply to your face and neck area. There was a slight warmth/tingle all over my face but after about a minute or so it goes away. Lastly allow this peel to stay on your face and tighten up for about ten minutes and then wash off with warm water. I followed the peel with a toner and moisturizer. The process was painless and relaxing but , the only down fall I see for this product is the price. Retailing at $78.00 for a pack of four or $23.00 for a single use can seem a little costly for some and I have to agree. I truly adore this product and will continue to use it but, due to the cost will probably cut back to once a month, especially since the cost of four is still cheaper than a visit to a professional.
If your looking to brighten your skin and get that glow from within look. Why not give this peel a try? Now to see results I personally think you need at least two peels but, if you just want to test them out one will do just fine. These peels can be purchased at your local Sephora or online at www.sephora.com

I had one of these done at a spa once and the results were outstanding. Didn’t know you could do it at home though. Amazing!
